Paymail (paid emails) pays you to recieve emails. There are different types of paymail. There is paymail where you'll recieve cash for just recieving mail, but most paymail requires you to click a link in the email that will take you to the advertisers website. As a result of this, the paymail itself is rather small and doesn't fill up your harddisk. The revenue for visiting this site differs from company to company and even from mail to mail in the same company. The rates differ from 1 dollar for an email (some claim even to give 10 dollars, but haven't seen a $10 mail myself yet)to 1 dollarcent per mail.
This paymail ain't exactly junnk mail, because they actually do have offers that are interesting (for instance much cheaper inktcatridges or a possibility to trade your empty inktcartridges in for approximately 3 dollars. Furthermore you can decide yourself which categories you're interested in and only recieve mails from those categories. In other words, you don't have to be afraid recievind adult-content mails if you dont want to (nice if your kids use the same computer/email). If you still think its all too risky, get a free email-account at for instance hotmail and use that adress for your paymail.

Paid-for-clicks; Paid-for-visits, it looks a lot alike to paymail, although there is a difference. Paymail can and in most cases will require of you to click a banner and visit a site, though the difference is that the trigger to visit that site is the link in the mail and not a link on a site. Paid-for-click-programs are usually website-based. After visiting the website, you can chose between certain links you can visit and you'll get paid accordingly for that. The payment you'll get for visiting a site differs from program to program and in the same program, from site to site. Usually, signing up for something after a visit will pay you more.
